Review by hotel critic
During our culinary getaway at L'Auberge, we experienced a delightful introduction to Eguisheim's unique wine culture. As a marine biologist, I can appreciate the importance of sourcing quality, local ingredients, and here they truly shine. The menus featured refined dishes crafted from fresh local produce, which added an authentic touch to our meals. I particularly enjoyed starting my mornings with their homemade breakfast. Although it was a standard buffet, the thoughtful touches-like the fresh apricots and the little pots of homemade yogurt-made for a refreshing experience. Our evenings at the restaurant offered a cozy ambiance perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The wine and cocktail list is impressive and provided us with the opportunity to explore a variety of wines from local vineyards. Dining al fresco was a pleasure, and I found the overall atmosphere inviting and convivial. While I didn't dine in the main restaurant this time, the evident culinary innovation and friendly service make me keen to return. L'Auberge is an ideal spot for anyone looking to indulge in gourmet cuisine while appreciating the beauty of Eguisheim.
